Each year smaller authorities such as this council prepare an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR). Subject to the attached notice, for the year ended 31 March 2025, these documents will be available on reasonable notice by application to the Clerk between the dates 3 June to 14 July 2025.

Parish Councillor Vacancy - Now filled

There is currently a vacancy of Parish Councillor following the resignation of Councillor Neale.

The period for parishioners calling an election for this vacancy ran from 24 March - 11 April 2025.

Following the required notice period we have now received permission from North Yorkshire Council to co-opt a Councillor onto Crakehall with Langthorne Parish Council.

Anyone who wishes to put their name forward for the vacant position should inform the Parish Clerk at cwlpc.clerk@gmail.com and attend the next Parish Council meeting at the Village Hall on Wednesday 21 May 2025 at 7:15pm.
