The Bay Horse is a family run country pub, situated in the idyllic village of Crakehall - only a short way from Catterick Garrison and a stone’s throw from Bedale. We are child-friendly, dog-friendly and welcome well-behaved adults too!

We are pretty proud of our laid-back atmosphere; we are here to help you have a great time and will always endeavour to make your experience with us an enjoyable one. We overlook the village green so boast beautiful views for a much-needed dollop of escapism (failing that, we have free wi-fi!)

Monday 5 - 11pm (last food orders 8 pm)
Tuesday 5 -11 pm (Kitchen closed)
Wednesday - Sunday 12-11 pm (last food orders 8 pm)

 

Every week we host Fish and Chip Friday – super tasty and locally-sourced; to take away or eat in. We have a choice of roasts for our Sunday lunches and home-make the whole shebang.

We have monthly quiz nights, steak nights and speciality cuisine evenings, such as Mexican, Tapas and Greek. Large parties and bookings are encouraged and we will do our best to organise whatever you have in mind. We frequently host village events as well as our own fundraisers, race nights and whatever else we think might be of interest!
