St Gregory's church

St Gregory's Church stands on The Green, is set in a small churchyard - long since closed for burials - and was built in 1839. It was consecrated on 11 April 1840 by Charles Thomas Longley, the first Bishop of Ripon. St Gregory's Crakehall is a part of the Benefice of Lower Wensleydale.

Services

We meet most Sundays for a service at 11:00.

 

Our normal pattern of worship is:

1st Sunday = Holy Communion
2nd Sunday = Simply Together Family Service (Crafts and Coffee from 10:30)
3rd Sunday = Holy Communion
4th Sunday = Morning Prayer
5th Sunday = No service in Crakehall – A joint service will normally be held at either Finghall or Hauxwell at 10:00

We also have a Holy Communion or Morning Prayer service each Wednesday at 10 am, followed by Coffee and Chat.
